Personal Assistant – Leigh, NE
REDSTAR is seeking an outgoing, personable individual who has the ability to work in a fast paced environment while assisting with a multitude of jobs.
JOB DESCRIPTION
In this multi-role job, you will be assisting the REDSTAR Leigh Location in various ways. This position will have you seated up front in our Reception area to greet and welcome guests, answer phones and help direct visitors. You should have basic knowledge of office equipment and computers. This position includes light office cleaning, as well as managing the office supply list. You should also be able to cook desirable meals and be able to plan, shop, organize and clean up after a large group. Some travel is involved in this role.
FRONT DESK DUTIES
As the Front Desk Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our company. You will receive visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately. Duties will include offering simple administrative support across the
organization. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls
OTHER DUTIES WILL INCLUDE
• Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls using a multi-line phone system, including an APP Version
• Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
• Direct visitors appropriately
• Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
• Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
• Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
• Order office supplies and keep inventory of stock
• Update calendars and schedule meetings
• Arrange travel and accommodations
• Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, emailing and faxing
CLEANING/STOCKING/SUPPLY DUTIES
Although REDSTAR has an employed weekend cleaner, light housekeeping will be needed Monday thru Friday to ensure that all offices, entrances and rooms are kept clean on a daily basis. REDSTAR has a large weekly supply list that will need to be managed and multiple in house areas that need to be maintained and stocked on a daily basis.
OTHER DUTIES WILL INCLUDE
• Maintaining an up to date Supply list
• Scheduling and picking up supplies
• Periodic cleaning of the refrigerator, microwave, oven, cabinets etc.
• Daily stocking of the refrigerators, snacks, ect

MEAL PLANNING / GROCERY SHOPPING / COOKING DUTIES
During in-season, late March to August 1st, REDSTAR provides in house meals to the entire REDSTAR Team and those visiting during the lunch hour. During off-season, REDSTAR provides lunches on Mondays and occasionally throughout the week when needed. Meal Planning is done 1 week in advance and cooking of the meals is done mostly in-house.

• Weekly Meal Planning
• Grocery Pick-up/Take-Out
• Ability to organize, shop, cook and clean up for large groups (10+ People)
• Organize take-out for large groups for in-house meetings
WHAT YOU NEED
• No degree is needed for this position but is always appreciated and will be taken into consideration
• Valid Driver's License
• Common sense on how to use basic office equipment and computers
• Personable, outgoing personality
• Organization and time management skills (This is a FAST PACED business)
• Basic cleaning knowledge
• Ability to meal plan and cook for larger groups
